Lush Cosmetics Must Haves
Hello friends,
If you're following me on Instagram, you know I have a LUSH obsession. I fell in love with the product as soon as I discovered them at my local mall. I slowly but surely started switching my shower & bath products. One thing you might want to know is that Lush Cosmetics are handmade natural products. I love that this company uses fresh vegetarian products and helps the environment by using naked packaging. Not to mention, the company has been fighting for animal testing. I just love what they stand for.
Now that I am done bragging about this product (I think I'm done), maybe I should now focus on what this post is meant for. Here is the list of my absolute favorite lushies (in no particular order)!
Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub - I use the self-preserving. I use this product every other day whenever I take a bath to exfoliate my body, arms, and legs. I like to use it with Buffy and the combination of those two exfoliate my skin while keeping my skin moisturized and soft. The scent is very fresh and citrusy. I buy the 3.2 ounces and that would last me about 1 to 2 months. Like I previously mentioned, I use ocean salt scrub at least 3x a week all over my body.
Honey I Washed My Hair Shampoo Bar - I have never used a shampoo bar before, which made me hesitant to try this shampoo bar at first, but as soon as I tried it, I liked it right away. It has a mild honey-toffee scent to it and it just makes my hair smells so amazing. This small bar lasts me at least 3-4 months. I usually wash my hair every other day except in the summer.
American Cream Hair Conditioner - this is my absolute favorite scent. I don't think I would say the smell is strawberry-vanilla shake smell but it is just very appealing to me. I feel like it does feel a little different than a regular conditioner, but the scent is just irresistible. It helps with the frizz and the smell locks in my hair. It is very light and a little watery so I do suggest that you wring your hair before applying. I definitely won't be going back to the traditional conditioner anytime soon. The 16.9 oz last me about 4 months, and I wash my hair at least 4x a week.
Karma Kream Hand and Body Lotion - This is probably my second favorite scent. I was using the Pearl/Rose Argan massage bar when I first tried the Karma soap but hated that it dissolves pretty quickly even when it was kept in the tin container. The bar also made my skin dry and decided not to purchase it again, so I was pretty thrilled with this lotion. It does make my skin soft and hydrated with the scent that I love!
R&B Hair Moisturizer - this product keeps my hair frizz-free, soft, moisturized and smelling good. Whenever I wash my hair more than usual, I make sure to apply this all over my hair to keep my hair soft and moisturized.
Sex Bomb Bath Bomb - why talk about Lush when we are not going to be talking about bath bombs? You probably already noticed that I do like a floral scent. This is my all-time favorite bath bomb, leaving my skin smells like jasmine. Not to mention, it makes my bathroom smells so good! Most of the time, I would use this with Rose Jam bubble bar or Pop in the Bath bubble bar.
The Olive Branch Shower Gel - this shower gel keeps my skin feeling clean. Before use, it does need to be shaken for the olive oil to "mix" with the rest of the product. Its citrusy smell wakes me up in the morning and mandarin juice leaves the skin smelling amazing.
Fresh Face Mask - I can't even tell you which one I should put. Every other day, and during bathtime, I would put on a mask. Since I discovered a fresh face mask, I haven't gone back to the regular mask. I have been switching back and forth between BB Seaweed {great for hydration} and Brazened Honey {to keep my face brightened}. Because they are a fresh masks, they are required to be refrigerated and only last couple weeks.
I could probably keep going with all the lush products that I love but this post would end up too long. So how about comment down below and tell me what is/are your must-have lush product. :)
Have a lush-y day!
