Last days in the Philippines
My time in the Philippines was very limited. We flew from San Francisco on a Wednesday, May 20th, got to the Philippines Friday morning and we were on our way back home Monday, June 1st. My body didn't even get a chance to adapt to the time difference.
I went to the Philippines with my family and it was like a small family reunion because my uncle from Canada came down there as well. My mom planned the trip, where we going, etc. Well, let me tell you, we wasted a day and a half waiting for people!
My mom has 6 siblings, and because the last time I came down there to visit was in 2009, and because the whole gang was there and just because its a Filipino thing, of course, everyone had to come plus the neighbor.. or a friend.
While in Dinalupihan (Bataan), my younger cousin joined Cody and I to explore "palengke" also known as the wet market to show him around. Then, the fam and I spent our last 2 days in Makati where we stayed at the Fairmont Hotel. The hotel faces the Landmark Mall and 3 other malls which were amazing. The area is so nice and clean. I highly recommend! An alternative hotel that I liked is the Shangri La in Pasay City. We stayed there back in 2003.
Overall, the trip was pretty fun and we are looking forward to more family adventures. I want to know what country you would recommend visiting? Comment your answer down below.
