The Elephant in The Room
The biggest change in my life recently is changing jobs. This past March, I resigned from my job as the Director of Sales of Hyatt Place Fresno to work for my dream company, Hyatt Hotels Corporation*.
You may ask, “You were already working at a Hyatt Place; isn’t that part of Hyatt Brand?” Well, yes, however, I was employed by a management company that is/works with Franchise owners/hotels.

The last almost three months have been awesome and as many of you know, I LOVE the brand and the hotels. The current hotel I work at is a fully renovated historic hotel and part of the JDV collection. I can’t wait to share more behind the scenes and hope it inspires you to pursue the hospitality industry, too!
Website Update
After 10 days of my website being down, I decided to move it to a different platform, and I couldn’t be happier! I love WordPress and only have great things to say. However, multiple web hosting agents from the web hosting company I was using couldn’t provide me a straight answer on why my website was down or an ETA. I utilized this hosting company from 2016 until when I canceled my account. It was a pretty lousy experience. They made me feel like I was inconveniencing them, and there was no urgency to resolve the issue. At least, that is what it felt like. My case was not handled the way I was hoping - poorly in my opinion - and it was making me stressed.
They also refused to provide me a prorated refund for the months I will not be utilizing the services, even though they know that I am canceling due to the lack of service I was receiving.
Fast Forward To Now
I have some content from my trip to Georgia and Dallas that I have not shared. While working on those, website maintenance must be finished as some posts, photos, links, and SEO did not transfer properly. I’m hoping it does not affect much, but we will see. Please excuse the little housekeeping and report any issues you are experiencing! Also, feel free to just say hello on the contact form or instagram!
