Disneyland Resort Reopening
Disneyland Resort just announced that it will be reopening on April 30th! For reals, who's going?
Just a few days ago, I posted something about my excitement about A Touch of Disney and the rumors of Disneyland Resort opening up. Well, friends, Disneyland Resort confirmed and made the reopening announcement this morning!
What is happening so far?
Legacy Passes (digital discount ticket to those who had an active AP when DLR closed in March 2020) started showing with an expiration date of April 30, 2021, on the Disneyland App. According to the email, this was automatically updated to those who have previously linked their Passport to their Disney account through the Disneyland App. If you have not previously linked your Passport to your Disney account, you should be receiving an email with instructions on how you can obtain the digital discount ticket.
Reservations are limited and are only available to California residents. No out-of-state visitors are allowed until new State guidelines are released. Annual Passport and ticket information/prices have not been released. According to the e-mail I received this past Monday, March 15th, the expiration date will be automatically extended until new membership offerings are announced.
A Touch of Disney is sold out. It will take place from March 18 through April 19, 2021.
Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is planning to reopen on April 29, 2021. The Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel have not provided the reopening date and will remain closed.
