Where to Stay in Chicago?
With so many hotel options in Chicago, it can be overwhelming figuring out where to stay. I personally love staying in the Downtown/Mag Mile area. Here are a few hotel information based on my experience, in a particular order.
Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile | 633 N St. Clair Street - I stayed in this beautiful property from late March through early April of 2019 for work. They have great breakfast options and amenities such as a fitness room and indoor pool on the top floor. I did not use the bar but we did utilize the meeting room and catering services. The guestroom is spacious, with a large HDTV, desk, and an accent chair.
Hyatt Regency Chicago | 151 E Wacker Avenue - I guess you could say I am biased but I love my Hyatt brand! The beautiful atrium and city view are just plain, magnificent! After being an Elite IHG Member from 2011-2019, I did made the switch! I couldn't believe I waited until I am working for a Hyatt Place to try the brand.
Homewood Suites by Hilton Chicago Downtown | 40 E Grand Avenue - this hotel also offered me a great city view during my stay in early July of 2019. They have a beautiful pool on the 19th floor! One of my favorite Hilton brands because of its full kitchen and separate living room area.
InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile | 505 Michigan Avenue - The hotel is beautiful, however, it was dated during my stay in April 2019. The rooms were chipping and are begging for some upgrades! I must say though, Michael Jordan's Steakhouse is a must-try!
