Disneyland Legacy Passholder

Star Wars Galaxy Edge during Fireworks Show | December 2019

After getting a dreadful e-mail about our Disneyland Annual Passport refund and officially being a Disneyland Legacy Passholder, I am currently in Disney-hype as Disneyland reveals "A Touch of Disney" and the reopening rumor this spring continues.

My love for Disney started when my aunt showed me Disney films from secondhand VHS tapes that were given to her (anyone remembers those VHS tapes?). I remember seeing the Lion King in theaters when I was a kid and that has been my all-time fave Disney movie. I didn't have the luxury of being able to go to Disney growing up, so when we were able to afford annual passes — and a lot of convincing the hubs, we did go every month with the kids and enjoyed the magic.

Storytime: Lighting of the castle during Christmas is my favorite. The vibe, the smell, everything! I love Christmas in general. In Dec of 2019, we were watching the "snow" and pointed to Hayleigh who just turned 6 (we were celebrating her birthday) that it is "snowing". That child then looked at me and responded as soon a bubbles hit her skin, "yeap, I knew it, it's fake." I cannot believe that it would be my child who would ruin the magic for those children who were around us enjoying it.

As we wait for the Disneyland and California Adventures to fully reopen — hopefully this April, I'd be sharing some of our favorite rides, tips, and tricks I learned during our year as Annual Passholders. ✨ What is your favorite thing or ride about Disneyland?
